There are two ways of sharing files and folders with others through OWLbox: inviting collaborators to a folder or sharing a link.

To invite a collaborator to a folder:

  1. Log into OWLbox
  2. Locate the folder that you would like to share. Click on the word Share associated with that folder on the right side of the page.
  3. In the Invite Collaborators box, begin typing the name or email address of the individual with whom you would like to share the folder. You can click on Invite once all the name of the collaborators have been selected. Doing this would automatically grant those collaborators Editor access to the folder.
  4. To change the permissions of the individuals whom you invite to the folder, click on Advanced Options next to Invite and select the appropriate permission level for each individual.

To share a link to a file or folder with another individual:

  1. Log into OWLbox
  2. Locate the file or folder that you would like to share. Click on the word Share associated with that folder on the right side of the page.
  3. A link beginning with "http://temple.box.com..." will appear next to Link to this folder. You can simply copy that link and paste it into a method of communication (email, instant message, etc) to share it. You can also click on the Send button to automatically send a link to the folder with a custom message to individuals whom you specify.
