OWLbox/box at Temple University is based on your AccessNet username and not your email address. Users can have multiple email addresses going to the same email account but users only have one AccessNet username: JimSmith@temple.edu, JSmith@temple.edu, JS@temple.edu versus tud12345@temple.edu.

 

Make sure you are using an AccessNet username if a person's name is not in OWLbox/box.

 

Alternatively, you can add your email alias as another address to your OWLbox account. To do this, go to Account Settings and add a new email address in the "Login and Email Addresses" section. You will receive a confirmation email from Box to that address. Click on the link in the message to validate that you own the email address.

 

Once the email alias has been successfully added to your account, the shared folder should be visible.
